Wood composite technology

Silvadec decking boards are made of wood fibers and recycled polyethylene. The wood fiber content of Silvadec is approximately 65% by weight. Polyethylene is 100% recyclable and non-toxic to the environment. The product does not use PVC. It’s environmentally friendly products!

An advantage of Silvadec deckig boards is the use of Forexia® technology. Forexia® technology involves modifying a wood composite that has undergone physical and chemical changes. Which give the wood composite a natural resistance to rot along with the spatial stability that occurs in both heat and humidity. All of this means that with minimal maintenance on this product, your decks will remain beautiful for many years.

Maintenance of wood composite

Not only do wood-plastic composite decking boards looks good and last a long time, they are also easier to maintain than pure wood decking boards. No special surface care is needed, and when the deck gets a little dirty, just clean it with warm water. We recommend that fresh stains be cleaned immediately with warm water and a natural cleaning agent. Another great advantage is that the composite decking boards do not fade and retain their color perfectly.

  • Periodic cleaning of the decking is recommended at least once a year!
  • Regularly wiping the decking will help to keep the boards clear and ensure air circulation!
    (Provides good air circulation and prevents any rotting or mold development.)
  • Immediately clean food and drinks stains right away to reduce any stains!
  • Ensuring that there is enough space underneath the decking for good air circulation maintains the proper micro climate!
  • Apply protection under metal objects, furniture, etc. to prevent rust spots!
  • Avoid spraying wood composite decking boards with sand or salt in winter time when is snow or ice!
  • When cleaned snow and removing ice, be careful not to damage the decking with metal tools!
