Osmo One Coat Only HS Plus is a semi-transparent, satin exterior and interior wood finish that colors, protects and meets the full needs of exterior wood with only a single coat. The finish enhances the natural wood grain and texture and is also microporous which leaves a breathable surface. Does not crack, peel, flake or blister. Very durable, water repellent, moisture regulating, prevents wood swelling and is weather and UV resistant. Extremely high coverage and only one coat is required – saving time and money!

Osmo One Coat Only HS Plus 0.75/2.50 L

Decorative, satin protective wood finish based on natural oils for exterior wood. Microporous surface allows the wood to breathe and reduces swelling and shrinkage. Water-repellent, extremely weather-resistant and UVstable. Does not crack, peel, flake or blister. No sanding necessary, just simply recoat. Easy and seamless application. Finish stays workable while coating. Osmo One
Coat Only HS Plus has a low content of solvents, works without any biocides or preservatives, has a high content of solids and thus offers high product coverage. With only a very thin coat, an optimal surface protection is achieved. When dry, finish is safe for humans, animals and plants and is suitable for children’s toys as per EN 71.3 (European norm) and is resistant to saliva and perspiration according to DIN 53160 (German industrial norm).

Recommended Purpose

Osmo One Coat Only HS Plus is ideal for the protection of all wood in outdoor areas: carports, timber cladding, balconies, fences, pergolas, garden furniture and summer houses. Well suited to renewing old microporous stains.

Methods of Application

With Osmo Flat Brush or Microfibre Roller, apply thinly and evenly to the clean and dry wood along the wood grain and spread well. Allow to dry for approx. 12 hours under good ventilation.

Drying Time

Dries in about 12 hours (under normal conditions: 23 C and 50% RH). Lower temperatures and / or higher humidity can significantly prolonged drying times. Ensure good ventilation throughout drying.

Coverage of One Coat Only HS Plus

1 liter can cover in one coat of approximately 26 m2 of planed wood. Product consumption is highly dependent on wood characteristics. All information is provided on a smooth and planed / sanded surface. Other surface configurations can reduce the area covered.

FIRST COAT

Apply the first coat of oil on untreated and outside used / stored wood at about 35 ml / m².

POSSIBLE CORRECTIONS

Excess oil and wet layer defects can be corrected within 30 minutes of the first application.

DRYING TIME

Drying time about 12 hours, low temperature and high humidity prolong the drying time.

SECOND COAT

Apply a second coat of oil about 35 ml / m² (If you are renovating wood, apply on a clean and dry surface).

COVERAGE WITH ONE COAT

Oil consumption: 1 liter - about 24 - 26 m² in one coat (tools used for work: brush, roller, sponge, trowel, etc.).

COVERAGE WITH TWO COATS

Oil consumption: 1 liter - about 12 - 13 m² in two coats (working tools: brush, roller, sponge, brush, etc.).
