Decorative, silk gloss wood protection based on natural oils for all types of wood. This Microporous finish allows the wood to breath and reduces the risk of swelling and shrinkage. Osmo Natural Oil Woodstain is also water repellent and extremely weather and UV resistant. Contains active ingredients to resist the growth of mildew, algae and fungal. Proven finish over decades in all kinds of climatic conditions, does not crack, flake, peel or blister.

Osmo Natural Oil Woodstain 0.75/2.50 L

No sanding – just repaint. No priming required. Simple and even coverage. The coating can be adjusted throughout the working life. The protective layer contains additives that protect the wood from mold, rot, lichens and insects, and have been tested over a long period of time and under extreme conditions.

Recommended Purpose

Osmo protective wood-stain is an ideal for all exterior wooden surfaces: doors, windows, shutters, panels, balconies, gazebos, ceilings, outdoor furniture and summer homes.

Methods of Application

Apply thin and evenly on a clean, dry surface along the wood pattern with Osmo Natural Brush or Osmo Microfiber Roller. Allow to dry for approximately 4-6 hours, ensuring good ventilation. Once dry, apply a second coat thinly and quickly. One coat on a dry, clean surface is sufficient for renewal.

Drying Time

Dries in about 4-6 hours (under normal conditions: 23 C and 50% RH). Lower temperatures and / or higher humidity can significantly prolonged drying times. Ensure good ventilation throughout drying.

Coverage of Oil Woodstain

1 liter can cover in one coat of approximately 26 m2 of planed wood. Product consumption is highly dependent on wood characteristics. All information is provided on a smooth and planed / sanded surface. Other surface configurations can reduce the area covered.

DECK AND FACADE COATINGS

FIRST COAT

Apply the first coat of oil on untreated and outside used / stored wood at about 35 ml / m².

POSSIBLE CORRECTIONS

Excess oil and wet layer defects can be corrected within 30 minutes of the first application.

DRYING TIME

Drying time about 12 hours, low temperature and high humidity prolong the drying time.

SECOND COAT

Apply a second coat of oil about 35 ml / m² (If you are renovating wood, apply on a clean and dry surface).

COVERAGE WITH ONE COAT

Oil consumption: 1 liter - about 24 - 26 m² in one coat (tools used for work: brush, roller, sponge, trowel, etc.).

COVERAGE WITH TWO COATS

Oil consumption: 1 liter - about 12 - 13 m² in two coats (working tools: brush, roller, sponge, brush, etc.).
