However, they are significantly cheaper than the tropical timber cladding and siding offered on the UK market. And has the great advantage of being the high quality facade finish with minimal maintenance. For aesthetic reasons, simple maintenance with paint or oil every 10 to 15 years is recommended. Thermowood cladding and siding can also be operated without any surface treatment. Due to it’s extremely durable properties, thermowood also has its own color, which is very similar to the exotic wood.
