Plastic spacers BASO reinforce and extend the durability of decking boards. They are made of waterproof, stable and recycled ABS plastic. The spacer creates a 6 mm gap between the decking boards and the joists, which improves the ventilation of the deck and prevents excess water. Another important advantage of BASO is that the screws are no longer subject to shear deformation and bending loads.

The BASO spacer has a distance gauge that allows you to quickly determine the level spacing between decking boards, which can be 5.5 – 6.0 mm. After installing (screwing) the decking boards, the distance meter prevents decking from expanding, which gives the good deck stability. Kit includes:

  • Spacer BASO x 1 pcs.

Deck Spacers BASO

There is no need for additional fixing of the BASO spacers, as they are simply placed on the joists and screwed with a wood screw while screwing the decking boards. These spacers greatly facilitate the installation of the decking and save working time. In addition, they significantly extend the life of the decking by compensating for the board’s “walking” not only in width but also in thickness.
