KompeFix II KF is a universal distance band for deck and facade. Designed for the protection decking and cladding, as well as for the durability and ventilation of wooden sub-structure. This distance band is elastic, made of PVC rubber (resistant to heat and cold), which forms a gap between the wood elements (joists or battens) and decking, cladding, siding, which provides good ventilation and strengthens the durability of the wood. This distance band has a height of 8 mm and a width of 21 mm.

KompeFix® II KF distance band can be used directly on concrete foundations, metal structures, wooden joists and battens. Simply laying and fastening it at one place. For quick installation, the KompeFix® II KF distance band is supplied in rolls of 4.5 meters.

The KompeFix® II KF distance band used in the deck construction improves the “walking” of the boards and compensates for the stress of the deck screws. The deck surface do not squeak, which gives a feeling of comfort.

The special shape of the KompeFix® II KF distance band compensates for the natural expansion and contraction of the wood and stabilizes the structure. The screw heads always remain flush with the boards surface!
